“Interviewing at Francis Clark isn’t like interviewing anywhere else. I wasn’t sat in a cold boardroom and asked the same old questions. Instead I was welcomed into a bright and cheerful office and asked about me, my career path, and my plans for the future.

I explained that career progression was important to me. I also wanted the opportunity to further my knowledge and understanding of financial services with a view to studying for my Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning over the next few years. It quickly became clear that the firm would be fully prepared to support me in achieving these goals. In fact with it being a larger firm there would be much opportunity for me to progress and develop my skills in the future.

Following a friendly chat I was given a tour of the Exeter Office. It was then that I got to meet the team. The people really impressed me, that’s the moment that I realised that this was where I wanted to be.

I have worked in financial services 13 years and I’ve found that many advisory firms are loud and highly pressured with unmanageable deadlines.
