Director and partner development programmes
Over nine months you’ll pursue a set of structured activities to equip you with the strategic and leadership skills needed to be an effective member of our senior team.
You’ll develop a success profile of the experiences, knowledge and behaviours required and you’ll co-create an individual development plan to support your progression, such as how you prefer to interact with other people, the way you arrive at decisions, your typical approach to work tasks and where you might overplay when under pressure.
In addition, 360° feedback, partner feedback and personality profiling will enable you to understand more about various aspects of your leadership style, such as how you prefer to interact with other people, the way you arrive at decisions, your typical approach to work tasks and where you might overplay when under pressure.
This is supported by action based learning, an approach to solving real-life problems which involves taking action and reflecting upon the results. You’ll be part of an action learning group, a confidential space to unpick issues, address challenges, develop skills and expand your network.
You’ll also have the opportunity to engage in individual coaching sessions with our Learning and Change Manager, with a focus on your personal development and growth.
At the end you’ll meet your Supervising Partner to review your progress throughout the promotion process. This is a formal meeting which will reflect on the whole internal selection process and your development throughout this time and the next steps.
You’ll develop a success profile of the experiences, knowledge and behaviours required and you’ll co-create an individual development plan to support your progression.
