Finance jobs put you at the heart of the workings of the firm. We oversee all financial processes and maximise the firm’s overall financial performance.
Finance is key not only to our efficiency, it’s also vital to our stability and business strategy. At any one time, the team manages around £15m in working capital. We support budget holders and key decision-makers across the firm in managing and planning their budgets and we support all our colleagues with day-to-day enquiries and tasks.
Ours is a diverse remit that includes efficiently managing suppliers, supporting budget holders, training colleagues across the business, and looking for opportunities to improve our processes.
Our finance jobs span the three core groups in the team:
It’s our job to make sure we have enough funds coming in to pay everyone’s salaries. We share a passion for high quality service by providing colleagues with the tools to understand, control and enhance their team’s financial performance. We are also responsible for managing finance processes so that we drive the best outcomes for the firm in the most efficient way.
We work flexibly, communicating both online and in-person in the offices. We operate a hybrid working model that recognises work is thing you do and not a place that you go.
You’ll find that we’re a social bunch too when you take a finance job with us. We regularly meet up for walks on Dartmoor and take part in volunteering days, such as maintaining footpaths to enhance the environment at Clennon Valley Lakes.
