Dario IT Systems and Infrastructure Engineer

We’re here to deliver and maintain a robust IT infrastructure that is first rate. We work with colleagues to identify and provide IT solutions to add value to our people and our clients.

The team splits into five sub teams:

Infrastructure – maintaining our network
Support – giving colleagues the help when they need it
Development – responsible for our software
Data – delivering critical information to the business
Digital Transformation – driving adoption and integration of new IT

All share one goal – empowering colleagues to perform their jobs better.

We love change and we thrive on a challenge. The IT team provides opportunities to work both independently, with the wider team and playing to your and the things you most enjoy. We are large enough to offer flexible career paths, you can ask for variety in your role or pick a specialism you are passionate about and get further into it. Our team is always encouraged to think about how IT can drive business growth and move the firm forward.

We are open and inclusive. You can be yourself in this team. We have regular team meetings, annual team gatherings and socials such as axe throwing, escape rooms and games nights. Our team members are also invited to local office socials with other teams, so double the fun!

What might candidates have done before that would make them a good fit?

Any IT background, ideally with broad ranging experience and an aptitude for helping people.

How do people in the team work together?

The Support team spend a lot of time in the office offering a personal service to their colleagues. The rest of the team balance working from home and in the office, staying connected through Teams.

What career development opportunities are there?

We talk about career pathways at regular one-to-ones with Heads of Team. What happens next depends on your career ambitions, for example you might go for external technical training or opt to join the internal management development programme. There are also annual career discussions in the autumn and professional development reviews in the spring.
