Payroll is a fast-paced environment. A client’s pay day can’t be changed so we need to be able to react quickly and we thrive on the challenge to ensure that we deliver every time. We pull together to deliver the very best service to our clients. They need to be able to rely on us and trust our integrity, always.
We customise the payroll service to each client’s requirements and offer a help desk as part of the service. We are always willing to assist our clients with unexpected situations.
We’re very much in this together. We’re a strong team with a great team spirit. We’re always here to support one another, for example by sharing out work to even the load or by problem solving.
Payroll is becoming increasingly sophisticated, so we’re always on the look-out for new ideas, and opportunities to grow our skill sets. We value everyone’s opinions and are quick to make changes for the better.

We’re a supportive team and big enough to flex when needed. We’re open, caring and we push one another, in a good way! If we need all hands-on deck then everyone steps up to help out, so we all feel we are in it together.
Everyone in the team is supported and encouraged to progress with on the job learning to develop both technical and interpersonal skills. In terms of more formal professional development planning we consider next steps through performance development and career conversations.
We fund the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) qualifications up to Master’s level. Also, as a payroll professional at PKF Francis Clark, you’ll sometimes be asked to assist clients from other areas of the business which broadens your experience.
We’re not necessarily looking for payroll experience. If you’re client focused, reliable and a team player with good communication skills then this could be a great next step for you.
