Daisy
Marketing and business development oo-ordinator
“I absolutely love our team, everyone is so supportive. We are all creative and get along brilliantly. We meet virtually on Teams twice a week and there are a couple of optional days in the office most weeks. There are the team days too – some are about thinking strategically while others are more about having fun”.
“I was still unsure of what career path I wanted to take but knew I wanted to be doing something creative. I’ve studied graphic design, business admin and marketing, but it is marketing that I love!
I was working as a marketer at a small family firm before I made the move to PKF Francis Clark. I could see there was opportunity to progress. I liked the idea of working within a large marketing team, rather than being a team of one.
I absolutely love our team, everyone is so supportive. We are all creative and get along brilliantly. We meet virtually on Teams twice a week and there are a couple of optional days in the office most weeks. We also meet up for a monthly team walk at Haldon Forest. There are the team days too – some are about thinking strategically while others are more about having fun and teambuilding; the next one is quad biking, laser clay shooting and a Segway safari!
My role is varied which keeps it interesting, every day is different. I have freedom to manage my work and explore my ideas and I get really valuable feedback, this mix is really motivating. As an individual you get so much support, that’s the main thing for me. If there is a part of your role that you really enjoy or want to explore more, the firm will help you follow that path.
I was originally co-ordinating the business development and marketing activity for the Taunton office. Working with the partners and directors is a big responsibility and I’ve grown in confidence through doing this. I am so proud to have been recently offered the opportunity to coordinate the Bristol office too – a new challenge which I am thoroughly enjoying!”
