“I can’t emphasise enough that the firm does a really good job in spotting potential and supporting you as an individual to develop. I joined the firm in a temporary role with no office experience and within six months I had a permanent role. If you are capable and put in the time and effort then it doesn’t matter what your background is – they will support and believe in you.

I started in the Admin team and moved to Payroll. In that role I volunteered as a Central Digitalisation Team Advocate, a new team with the goal to help digitalise the firm and use technology to its full potential. I was really enjoying it and I’ve always been interested in technology. It also enabled me to land an IT role with the firm – I couldn’t have imagined this career path but I love where I’m going!

My role is so varied and there’s always something to learn. And the IT team are very helpful. We work in different offices but have great working relationships, chatting to each other online throughout the day which makes work that bit more fun.

I find that PKF Francis Clark represents my values and is always striving to be better. For example, the firm is currently rolling out a green team in every office to reduce our local environmental impacts. I think this is important work and personally I’m keen to get involved, especially in terms of how technology can help us with this. I very much believe that PKF Francis Clark is a great place to work and I’m very grateful for all the opportunities they have given me.”
