“I started out in IT at a smaller local company. That was 13 years ago when I moved to the UK. After a few years there I wanted to join a bigger firm to broaden my experience, so when I saw the opportunity to join PKF Francis Clark I didn’t think twice. I applied and the rest is history!

I get a lot of freedom to just do my job. My team leader simply gives me a list of jobs to do and trusts me to do them. I’ve done lots of enjoyable work but the recent IT refresh project was a highlight for me. I was closely involved in the migration and we moved all our IT to a data centre with no downtime for our users.

I really appreciate how well the firm keeps me updated on what is happening. There are monthly video calls and twice a year there are roadshows about all the latest news and priorities from across the business.

Hybrid working is huge for me. I have a young family and knowing that I’m trusted to work from home and that I can spend more time with them is fantastic. When I’m working at home the support is still there from my manager and my team. We’re a collaborative team, we always help each other out.

People respect you here, whatever your background is. I really enjoy the relationships I’ve developed all over the firm and I’ve made some good friends here.”
