“I could tell that the culture was a great fit from the application process – it felt more like I would be joining a team than a company.

I started a year ago and have progressed so much. I feel more confident in my abilities. I know how to handle situations, even when I get stuck. I’m not rushed to do my work so I can give it 100% and I’m encouraged to speak my thoughts.

I most enjoy the analysis part of my role, such as reviewing client data or researching new topics, and I love report writing too. I find that the analytical and data skills I have as a Chemistry graduate and former researcher can be applied to accounting. People get into accounting from all sorts of different backgrounds, they all bring different strengths and that’s great for the team.

I feel I belong here due to the collaboration and inclusivity in my team. I get recognition for the work I do and lots of feedback. We care for each other; it’s easy to ask for help when you’re part of such a close team.”
