“I’m the only Graphic Designer here. This means that some of my professional development needs differ from those of all my colleagues, but they aren’t overlooked. I’m able to create custom development opportunities just for me and Mandy, my manager, strongly encourages this.

I’m very excited to start a design secondment at Bigwave Marketing. Once a week for the next three months I’ll be working with them doing design work for a variety of their clients, it’s a great opportunity to expand my knowledge and to work with other designers. It’s amazing that PKF Francis Clark are giving me this chance and paying me to work there; it shows that they really care about me and my career.

But that’s always been the way. I started here nine years ago as an Admin Assistant. I happened to sit beside Annee, who was the Graphic Designer at the time, I started out by helping her with little design tasks here and there and I found I really enjoyed getting creative. Annee taught me to use the design software and was a huge support in terms of teaching me more about design and we worked closely together for a number of years.

I naturally progressed to the position of Graphic Designer and I’ve never looked back since. You can follow your passions here, it’s one of the best things about this place. I’m so grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had so far.”
