“I find tax to be a healthy balance of skills, including numerical ability and information analysis. I like the mix of numerical and verbal reasoning – it keeps me on my toes.

I started my career in a small tax consultancy firm and jumped at the chance to join PKF Francis Clark. It’s a growing firm with more than 850 people so I knew there would be lots of learning opportunities here. It’s broadened my horizons and there are good progression opportunities.

PKF Francis Clark has the type of clients I get excited about. I work with a lot of interesting start-up and early-stage companies, including tech businesses. I really like learning what these businesses do and where they want to go. Helping clients who are at an early stage in their business journey is exciting.

For me the most satisfying thing is getting a job over the line, solving a problem for a client and getting feedback that they are chuffed with the result.

It’s challenging and I learn new things every day.”
