“Before joining PKF Francis Clark Financial Planning I worked at Nationwide Building Society. I joined as Client Liaison because I was looking to progress from banking to financial services and felt I could bring lots of transferable skills to the role.

You need good communication and organisation skills, and to be committed to exceptional client service. I was looking for a new challenge, and one that let me work closer to home. My children were young and it helped me to strike a better work-life balance.

I have really enjoyed the Client Liaison role and have recently been promoted to Trainee Paraplanner, which means I will now be researching and preparing recommendations to support our Financial Planners and meet our client’s needs. I’m excited to be progressing with the firm and my new team are very friendly and welcoming – I can’t wait to get stuck in!”
