“I trained as a lawyer, qualifying into corporate tax and then passing the Chartered Tax Adviser exams. I‘ve worked at law firms for most of my career, apart from a brief time at KPMG. It was a bit of a gamble to make the change to an accountancy practice, but I’m really glad I made the move.

I wanted more interesting tax advisory work and a larger team to learn from and develop within, and I have absolutely found it here. The work is the most interesting and varied I have experienced.

The work is challenging but I have found that I am less stressed overall than I have been in the past. That’s thanks to the breadth and depth of experience of the team, coupled with a very friendly and supportive culture. The people are fun, for me that’s the best thing about working at PKF Francis Clark.”
