Senior manager, audit
“I love having a role that enables me to be constantly challenged with technical work and that also gives me the opportunity to coach and support others in the team so they develop in their own careers.”
“I’ve been at PKF Francis Clark for 10 years. I started six months before my training contract began to learn some basics of accountancy. It was really helpful as I studied Ancient History at Cardiff University and didn’t know anything about accounting!
I then started my ACA training in the audit team and I’ve worked up through the various levels to the Senior Manager role that I’m in today. I now look after a varied portfolio of audit clients across a number of different sectors.
I love having a role that enables me to be constantly challenged with technical work and that also gives me the opportunity to coach and support others in the team so they develop in their own careers.
The team I work in is great. Working in audit means you get to work closely with different people for longer periods of time which is lovely as you get to know each other well and it helps builds strong bonds within the team. We all help each other out and I always feel the team are very supportive.
I feel really proud of my whole journey at PKF Francis Clark. I feel valued as a member of the team and feel I can really see my own personal development over the last 10 years.”
