“I’m really enjoying working with owner managed businesses. These are people who often dedicate their lives to growing their company, so helping them achieve their next goal is incredibly satisfying. I was looking for a role where I could engage with clients who were excited about the services we had to offer, and I found exactly that in the Corporate Finance team at PKF Francis Clark.

I get to advise brilliant clients and I’m building my experience by writing business plans, trade sale documents and due diligence reports. This means direct contact with business leaders at the most demanding points in their careers.

I joined two years ago, moving from PWC. It feels much more collaborative here, and with a growing team and expanding offering there are opportunities for all team members. My colleagues don’t feel like competitors; they are valued mentors who actively support my own career progression.

Sometimes the work is intense, but I feel that the partners and directors really do care about the wellbeing of the team. With hybrid working I’ve swapped unproductive commuting time for hobbies like running and watersports, and I’m spending more time with family.
